I am the grandparent of an Analy sophomore and very involved with my student's progress. This school provides excellent opportunities for development of special interests (particularly a superb drama program) and an exceptional level of teaching in academic areas which is illustrated by the high test scores. The principal and staff are approachable and responsive to parental concerns and provide a safe environment for students. The buildings and facilities may be old but the spirit of the school is young and vibrant. It has been a great choice for our student.

This campus is covered in trash all the time! Doesnt the leadership care enough about the kids to teach them not to throw trash all over the place? Do they teach about caring for their environment but only at the ozone level? First impressions county people and it's obvious that no one is teaching the kids to take pride in their surroundings. Visitors can't believe how much garbage is always on the ground and in the greenery as well as how run down the buildings and facilities are. Can we take a little pride in our property folks? And teach the future leaders to do the same?

It's a great school with wonderful teachers and a diverse and intelligent student body. Like our t-shirts say, 'Just because I go to Analy doesn't mean I'm a hippie!' Of course, a lot of people cover up 'Just because' and ' doesn't mean' with duct tape...

My son loves Analy but they must work hard and behave.Good AP program and highest test scores in the county. Principal is active and visible in the community and calls parents back and listens .Also a plus is the Ag program with FFA.Great school for my student.

I have been impressed with the commitment of the adminstrators and teachers to provide a quality academic program and a safe campus. Analy provides a variety of excellent extracurricular activities and seems to get a decent amount of parent involvement.

Fantastic counseling staff, safe environment, many electives in the arts; sports programs excellent; they send about half of each senior class to four year colleges-not bad at all for a public comprehensive high school.

This school has scored high in SAT and has a high college entrance rate. They also offer an FFA program.

School receives excellent funding compared to other schools in the district. Far better school than the other choice in the district.

I graduated from Analy in 1999, and in comparison to friends, whose parents spent $50,000 to send them to private school, I feel that my education at Analy was at least as good as their education at pricey, private institutions. For motivated students, there are (at least there were when I was there) many AP and honors courses available for students who wanted to push themselves. I would definitely say that Analy is a great place for high achieving kids. When I was there, the school could have worked a little harder with the kids who struggled. Generally, the teachers who taught the honors courses were much more interesting and hard-working than the ones who taught the basic and remedial courses.
